Welcome Back to The Gourmet Dad

Welcome Back to The Gourmet Dad // Dean McDermott Website

Hey Everyone,

I’m excited to welcome you back to The Gourmet Dad! I’ve left this website hanging for a while now, but I can’t wait to start sharing with you guys again. It’s been a crazy year since I last posted. Our family of seven is wilder and more fun than ever—and growing up way too fast. T and I are enjoying every second of the experiences we get to share with our bunch. From family ski trips, to hockey games, to cooking dinner, there’s nothing we love more than our time together.

I’m grateful that work has been full of exciting projects for me. If you haven’t yet, check out my cookbook, “The Gourmet Dad: Easy and Delicious Meals the Whole Family Will Love.” It’s full of 100 easy-to-make family-friendly recipes, some of which I’ll share with you here on my site. I’ve also got a new show, Slasher, airing every Friday at 9PM ET on Chiller TV.

Here on The Gourmet Dad I’ll be sharing everything from family-friendly recipes, to thoughts on parenting, to fitness tips. I’ve also got some of my favorite people lined up to contribute, like The Guncles, who will be sharing recipes, party ideas and more.

Most of all, I’d love to know what you want to read here, so leave me a comment and let me know.

Thanks for all your support, and welcome back!

Hi Dean, Can I ask you what you would recommend feeding my 7 year old granddaughter, when she comes here she loves my noodles with white sauce and chicken nuggets or ham and that is about it,other than pancakes. I need some ideas that can get her eating real food that is better for her. I would appreciate your ideas, thank you…

Hi! So glad to see your website back up and running!

I would love to see you blog about recipes for healthy treats that are good for hot weather-and kids of course!! I’m a huge proponent of using natural sweeteners when needed (agave, honey, fruit concentrate, etc.) when needed, as there’s so much natural sugar in fruit.

There are only so many sorbets one can make! :)

Thank you! Best of luck with everything!
