Keep focused and your will be stronger at the end of each day To say those words NO I WILL NOT LET MYSELF FAIL!! TO MUCH TO LOSE 1. My Honor as a good husband 2 My Honor as a good father 3 To Honor myself I am worth more then any of that crap { booze-drug-} You are a child of God and he will help and guide when you need it just believe!! You look better, healthier. I’m so happy for you. I know it’s a struggle, and you can’t do this for anyone but yourself. I do understand a small snippet of your struggle. My transplant is at end stage failure and so I struggle every day to accomplish the minutest task (you should see my laundry pile!). But my motto is “Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition!” As they say in Alberta, “Give ‘er!” I outlet my stress in baking and cooking. I found an amazing cinnamon buttermilk breakfast loaf that is fan-flipping-tastic if you want the recipe. So yummy.

So happy for you! Great work! Have followed you and Tori since “Inn Love”. Always rooting for you and your beautiful children. You are a multi-talented guy, so hopefully you’ll keep going strong with the self-love instead of self-destruction. Yay for you! (and Tori)

Dean you have people that can relate to some of your struggles and do not judge. Keep up the work on your site and career. Dismiss the haters and focus on all your supporters that want to see your family healthy and whole.

  • Sara Schubert McKone

Everyday is a new day with a new beginning and a new start. Don’t let anyone pull you down, you’re amazing never forget that! Sending love and support to you and your beautiful family.

Hearing things like this make me happy. :)

Congratulations Dean, you can do this. My husband quit 28 years ago. He also suffers from depression. We have had our ups and downs through the years as all married couples do. You get through it, you ride those waves together. Keep the friendship strong between you, that’s important. We just celebrated our 40th anniversary this month. We got through his illness, raised two beautiful daughters and battled my cancer recently together. Stay strong take care of you, it will trickle down to your family.

Congratulations Dean, I know it has had its moments. Be real and true to yourself and everything else will fall in place. So take a deep breath and repeat after me “I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished”.

  • Heather Leilani

Feels great doesn’t it!!! I am recently sober as well and loving every minute of it!!!

  • Carie Benoit

Congrats Dean….so very happy for you!! I know that is no small feat, a lot of hard work goes into that…it is a blessed thing to see someone parlez their weakest moments into strengths.

  • Trickster

AWESOME for you Dean, I’m so glad you decided to stop doing the show, I don’t think it’s good for you I have to agree with you on that. Now maybe if you can get TORI some REAL HELP FOR HER ISSUES, I honestly DON’T know how you deal with being criticized and MICRO managed like Tori does to you! the way I have seen thing’s is TORI IS THE SCREWED UP ONE, YOU and YOU ALONE take AWESOME CARE OF YOUR CHILDREN, Tori wanted to have making them but wants ZERO RESPONSIBILITY OF THEM! TORI IS ALL ABOUT TORI!
