1)Tagging along with my husband on a business trip (with kids) and visiting a sea turtle hospital and the Morikami Gardens.
    2) Every art show and festival we went to this last year as a family- love attending these events.
3)Our family vacation to Tybee Island this summer.
4)Watching our daughter get her Senior pictures taken.
5)Every time our little boy “discovers” something that is new to him- he is growing by leaps this year :)

Dean, Well I do have to agree with you that 2012 sure was an amazing year for you!! I am so very proud of what you have accomplished on your own as far as your first Cooking Gig on Sunset Blvd. & also that you will be on The Food Network Cook Off “Rachel vs Guy” How much cooler can you be?!! I can’t wait to watch you on it!! It’s on Jan ? Very soon! I think I know the date, but don’t want to say the wrong thing!!…… As far as your personal life with your family it was sooooo wonderful!!! I Loved your open letter to Finn!!!! Of Course, Tori giving birth to Finn & Hatties 1st birthday!!! Soooooo Sweet!!! Just so Happy & grateful that Tori And Finn are both healthy and everything is ok Now!! What a RELIEF!!…

The biggest highlight was in April when I met your beautiful & sweet wife Tori in N.J. at her book signing for celebraTORI! I also met up with Darren & became very good friends!! We talk often! I met my other twtr friends Sue & Tommomi!! It was soooo EXCiting!!!….. I Loved meeting & chatting with T!! Hoping to meet with her again!!…. Also in N.Y. seeing the play “How to be Successful in Buisness without Really Trying.” That was a Great Play!!… Also, I did go see Dr. Oz in N.Y.! I was suppose to be his assistant, but couldn’t go that day, still he is awesome!! I love all the knowledge he gives me!..
I went to the Henry Plant B. Museum with my daughter, Kristina! It is in Tampa & it was filled with beautiful antiques & history!! I love to go to museums , wish I had gotten to go to more…. We did have Fun!!
I guess I should say, anytime my daughter got to come home was a highlight for me!… Spending time with my mom & enjoying her company as much as I can! Life is just too short! …. Also our big holiday of all is Christmas!! That is a big Highlight for us! We go crazy & have fun opening presents! This year my daughter brought her boyfriend home & we all had a beautiful day!!… Lastly,I guess I should say, that I was Happy to hear that I was ok. & didn’t have Breast cancer! Still have to get checked every 3-6mnths!… Hope everyone had a Beautiful Christmas with their Families & Friends! Wishing a Happy & Healthy New year!!…. Xo

The birth of my second son, Rafe, tops my list! He’s about a month younger than Finn, I believe. My husband got a new job he loves and that has made him a happier husband and father. We’ve all had good health, I earned a scholarship, and I’ve almost completed my masters degree. Life is good!

My absolute favorite highlight for me in 2012 was the birth of my daughter Emma Rose. I was a very high risk pregnancy. Suffered Gestational Diabetes and Hypertension and spent most of the pregnancy in the hospital because of early labor signs. The delivery was bad with an emergency c-section because I suffered uterine rupture. Once my husband and I held Emma in our hands it was amazing!

Not only that, I had to check out of work for 6 months, spending it bed resting, being with my kids and husband and started mastering my cooking. Food Network really became my best friend during these months at home. Wouldn’t change it for the world :)
